The Cursillo weekend experience is a spiritual experience designed to help a person identify and examine the direction of their life and to awaken or deepen their faith life. It also provides the tools and support necessary to live this deeper life after the weekend experience is completed.

It starts on Thursday evening and runs through mid-afternoon on Sunday.

Note: In order to sponsor someone on a Cursillo weekend,  you must have experienced a weekend yourself. Sponsoring someone to a weekend is a serious commitment. Once your candidate has completed the weekend they are placed in your care for the beginning of their "fourth day." You become involved in their salvation journey. You help them find their way in whatever new direction they choose. The Sponsor Agreement and Sponsor Information Sheet forms contain important informaiton about sponsoring someone to a weekend. You can also order the Sponsors Booklet (publication #718) from the from the on-line Cursillo® Bookstore or contact your Diocesan Cursillo® Movement Secretariat for a free copy.
